I hope you have had a wonderful summer. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped in any way with our annual event at Wildcat Park. What a day! We had the largest crowd ever and were blessed with great weather. We figure we had around 357 people attend the Fiesta. It is always good to see old friends and make new friends. We appreciate those who gave us comments for improvements and those who let us know it was a great day for them. It is now only 10 months away from next year’s event. It will be held on June 13, 2008 at Wildcat Park. We look forward to suggestions on a theme, name, and if we can afford them…promotional items. As we approach the 2007/2008 fiscal year, we are looking forward to serving you and meeting the needs of the individuals we serve. We are replacing our medical consultant as Dr. Schultz moved to Wisconsin. We are also replacing our psychiatric consultant as Dr. Cesar has a full schedule. We hear there are changes with the HRP and wait to hear and see what they are. We have not started the HRP’s at this time as we want to use the new tool and respect the time and manpower it takes for a provider to input information. We will notify you as soon as possible when we know what the changes are to the new HRP. A big thank you goes out to those providers who are ready to complete the current sample. Our HCQU area has 167 HRP’s. This means our three nurses have lots of work ahead of them. Please call if you have questions and/or concerns. The HCQU is here to help with any problems or issues around the HRP. Enjoy the rest of summer. If you’re out for a drive and go past our office…stop in and say “hi”. We would love to show you around and have you meet the staff. Travel safe and take care. We appreciate the work you do to make a difference in the life of others.
