We are excited to announce our five year anniversary party.  The HCQU will be 5 years old in May!  We want to thank you for supporting us through these years .  We want to take the time to say thank you to providers, provider staff, supports coordinators, and all other agencies we have collaborated with in the past 5 years.  We have invited our CEO of Allegheny East MH/MR Center Inc., Barbara Conniff and our County Management Oversight Committee Members to join us in an open house on May 9, 2007 from noon – 2:00pm in welcoming you and thanking you for your support of the HCQU.  The HCQU staff will all be present.  We will have a light lunch.  Come and bring a friend and sign up for door prizes.  We invite those living in group homes and their staff to come and join us.  We will also have a memory book and would welcome your comments on something the HCQU has done to make a difference for you or someone else.  We are honored to serve staff and individuals in our nine county area.  Please continue to call with your requests for training or technical assistance. 

Again, put May 9, 2007 from noon – 2:00 on your calendar and celebrate with us.  We will have a good time together and we look forward to working with you in the years to come.

Cameron, Elk, McKean and Potter Counties Aging and Mental Retardation Team will be presenting  on April 26th, 2007 Dr. Morrow, Medical Director for the Office of Mental Retardation.  Dr. Morrow will be presenting Alzheimer's and Dementia along with trainers from Northwest Health Connections.  The forum will be held at Desios in Lantz Corners at a cost of $5.00 per person.  There will be flyers mailed containing more information.  If you have any question please call (814)728-9400 or email bbrien@northwesthc.org.
